I actually heard similar stories. They have their fave writers and they will continue to distribute their posts. Shame we are not included that special club. I would have assumed that if an article is doing well (high level of engagement), that meant more money for them, so why do this?

I remember when many writers left after the minimum payment of $1000 was stopped, writers left en masse and they had to beg them to return to the platform.

One of my friend received email from Newsbreak, asking to check his stats. He checked and saw one of his dead articles from before that earned $500 because they have distributed. So he came back.

Who will say no to that?
